The carrier in question is Sprint and it is a new samsung phone… I went from New Jersey to Virginia. Do cell phones not sometimes work when u go to another state as in not recieving calls and texts or is it just that my phone is acting stupid?
Cell phones will work when you leave you state. You should check with your carrier for more details. Sprint is a great one for service.

Any GSM phone can take a t-mobile sim chip. Samsung, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Song, HTC, HP, Vertu…..
Go to www.gsmarena.com EVERY single phone there is able to take a t-mobile sim chip. Find a phone you like, and it will work with t-mobile.

I have seen a Nokia future concept of wearing the Phone on your wrist. it’s just like a write watch felxible. so it has the watch, Mobile phone, Internet, email faclity, PDA options etc. i think in another couple of years this will be the future
If you are talking about a 10 years time the cell phone may go smaller and smaller then it will be implanted to the user. may be inside the head or inside alms or what ever.
in another 20 – 30 years time the helogram concept will be introduced where your image will be projected some where else you wanna talk and you can virtuall have a one on one discussion with them
in another 50 years time ppl won’t need phones coz the concept of apperation will be introduced where you just disappear from the place now you are nand appear at the place you wanna meet and talk with some one
i have an old phone, the one i got when i first signed on to t-mobile. i want a new phone and apparently i can only get one if i upgrade. does anyone know of certain stores that sell cell phones? a store that has them for a lower value. i want a pink razor but i dont want it for $200…i mean all you really have to do is switch the little chip in the back and your set to go? so are there stores out there that sell cell phones for lower prices? not used though, new, or atleast in fairly new condition…thanks!
Your best bet is Ebay. I took over my fathers cell phone contract to keep him from paying early termination fees and he had lost the phone to it. I bought a decent phone to use until the contract renewed and was very happy with it. Doing a qucik search showed many just like you are looking for.

I noticed you specified new. Not many places to buy a new phone without a contract or ridiculous price. Descriptions are generally pretty decent on Ebay. Also, if you buy one you can take it in to your local T-Mobile store and they should program it to work with your number.
